Alex is a key associate at Petts Wood Practice.  He has worked extensively within the NHS and private sectors gaining a broad range of physiotherapy skills both in the UK and Canada.  His passion for sport has involved him in playing rugby, participating in skiing, trampolining at National Level, playing golf and marathon running, all of which have given him an appreciation of the demands these activities have on the body.  His long term participation in rugby led him to take on the role of physiotherapist for his team and he has first hand knowledge of injuries sustained through training and match play.

His speciality is in musculoskeletal conditions such as neck and lower back pain, shoulders, hip and knee pain, whiplash, sporting injuries and post operative rehabilitation.  Alex is a trained Acupuncturist and can provide this within an integrated approach to injury together with taping, manual therapy, massage and prescription exercise advice.
